Export resolutions and when 4K is worth it

TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts all transcode uploads to a target bitrate that is well below 4K. For pure short-form, 1080p is indistinguishable from 4K and costs less to render.

4K is worth it when you plan to crop further (zooming into a detail), repurpose the same render for landscape ads, or archive the master at high quality.
